members had a question and answer discussion on cameras and other photographic equipment to help any member who was struggling with their kit. Subjects raised and discussed
were the computer screen calibration, the benefits of shooting in RAW format, preparation for prints, printing paper colour profiles, filters and long exposures.
Hopefully the answers given by some experienced members was helpfull.
The draw was made for members/subjects for this session's 'Lucky Dip' theme. Entries will be viewed on 10th February 2026.
The draw was also made for the Team Project which will be viewed on 3rd March 2026.
Details of the members/subjects and the 'Team' members will be sent to you all soon.
Next week we will discuss Composition and Aspect Ratios.
Note that the deadline for entries to the first PDI competition is Tuesday 30th September. I can take your entry any time before that if you have it ready.
