Members welcomed George Robertson DPAGB from Milngavie and Bearsden Camera Club who judged the second of this sessions Print Competitions. George gave a very thorough critique
pointing out the good parts and making many suggestions as to how he thought some of the photographs could be improved. This is very important to members particularly those who have less experience in printing.
In the Colour Section first place was won by George Lightbody with an excellent image of a 'Crested Tit'. Second place was taken by Steve Gauld with an excellent landscape taken at Kilchurn Castle.
George also gained third place with a second wild life image entitled 'Swan and Reflection'.
The Monochrome section was won by Bob Arnott with a tree study taken at Lanark Loch. George took second place with 'Nut Time' a photograph of a squirrel enjoying a nut. Third in this category was an excellent landscape 'In The Shadows' by Norman Sleep.
Next week is the deadline for entries to the Annual PDI Competition. Submit up to a total of six images which can be a mix of Colour and Mono.
